Keep their light close.
A hand-faceted crystal on a slim electroplated stand. Set it on a nightstand, a desk or beside their photo, and when the sun finds it, the room fills with small dancing rainbows.
- It stands anywhere the sun reaches. No hook, no nail, no window to hang it from. The bedside, the desk, the kitchen sill.
- Every rainbow is a hello. Each time it catches the light, the room fills with color, and they think of who it is.
- Quiet enough for every day. To a guest it is a beautiful object. Only they know what it means.
- Their name, in your hand. The card's last line arrives blank. You write their name yourself.
“There are some who bring a light so great to the world, that even after they have gone, the light remains.”
Flowers fade in a week. This stays on the nightstand for years, and every sunny morning it says it again.
Not everyone has a window to hang it in.
Grief does not happen at the window. It happens at the bedside, at the desk, at the kitchen table. So we put the crystal on a stand that goes where they actually spend the day.
Set it anywhere the sun lands for an hour. No cords, no batteries, no hook in the wall. Just a hand-faceted crystal, a slim electroplated stand, and light doing something that feels remarkably like a visit.

How it works
From our hands, to yours, to their table.
We pack it with care
The crystal, its stand and the poem card, nested in the Bobby & Willow gift box and sent to you.
You write their name
The poem card ends with In loving memory of ______. It arrives blank on purpose: your handwriting carries more love than any font we could print.
They set it in the sun
Hang the crystal on the stand's curl and place it where the morning light falls. Then the rainbows come, and they will know exactly who it is.

You already know where this goes
People tell us where theirs ended up. It is almost always somewhere close.
- Beside their photo. On bright mornings a rainbow lands right on the frame.
- Next to the urn. Something softer to see every time they walk past.
- On the desk. A small hello between the long hours.
- On the sill of a pet's favorite window. The spot where they used to lie in the sun.
It carries no name, so it can hold them all.
A mother. A husband. A brother. A baby. A dog who waited at the door for fourteen years. Some people are missing more than one.
Most memorial gifts are made for one person. This one simply keeps light in the room, so it holds everyone they miss. The only name on it is the one you write on the card.

If you do not know what to say
Most people freeze right here. So borrow these words: send one as a text when the tracking says delivered, or write it in your own card.
“Put it where the sun finds you. The rainbows are them, saying hello.”
“I wanted to give you something that stays after the flowers are gone.”
“No need to reply. I just wanted you to have a little light.”

One for the window, one for the bedside
Already sending The Light Remains suncatcher? Many people add the tabletop crystal for the room where the window will not work, or keep one for themselves.
- The suncatcher hangs in a sunny window and fills the room.
- The tabletop crystal sits close: nightstand, desk, beside their photo.
- Same poem card, same gift box. They arrive as a set.
Questions people actually ask
Should I choose this or the hanging suncatcher?
Choose the tabletop crystal if they rent, have no window that gets direct sun, or you want it close to them: a nightstand, a desk, a shelf beside their photo. Choose the hanging suncatcher if they have a sunny window. Many people send both.
Is it right to send if I never met the person they lost?
Yes. Maybe especially then. This gift does not say “I knew them.” It says “I see how much you loved them.” That is exactly what a grieving friend needs to hear, and it needs no words at all.
What does the poem card say?
“There are some who bring a light so great to the world, that even after they have gone, the light remains.” Beneath it: In loving memory of ______, the line you fill in by hand.
Will it really make rainbows?
It needs direct sunlight. That is the honest condition. Place it where the sun actually reaches for part of the day and the room fills with them. On grey days it waits, like everyone does, for the light to come back.
How big is it?
The crystal is 40mm (about 1.5 inches) across. The stand is iron wire with an electroplated finish, about 6 inches tall, small enough for a nightstand, tall enough to catch the light.
Can you ship it straight to them?
Yes. Use their address at checkout and it arrives gift-boxed, with no prices inside, ever. The name line arrives blank either way; if you would rather write it in your own hand, ship it to yourself first and pass it on. Delivery takes 7 to 13 days; for Christmas, order by December 8.
What if it arrives damaged?
It ships nested in foam inside the gift box. If anything arrives chipped or bent, send us a photo and we ship a replacement free, no return needed.
If it does not bring comfort, send it back
You have 30 days. If it does not feel right when it arrives, return it for a full refund. Damaged in transit? We replace it free, no questions, no return.
